Were the first three computer screens not enough? :)
Nope. I like to run a program called GLOB on my phone. It gives me real-time traffic based on other GLOB users around me. Far more accurate than any traffic service (it determines the speed on roads based on real drivers logged into their servers).

GLOB also alerts you to red light cameras and speedtraps. As a driver, you can easily input a red light camera, speedtrap or accident by pushing a button on the interface (it then prompts you if the "incident" in on the other side of the road.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

Edit: just looked on iTunes and didn't see it. Anything specific to search for? Thanks!

Try Waze. Also, Google acquired Waze like 6 months ago, and announced last week that they are now using real time user data to update Google Maps.

Sorry, should have stated it wasn't on Apple
Looked like an iPhone in your pic :)

The Waze social app seems to be on iTunes though. I'm guessing that's what you are referring to?

That was an iPhone in the picture - but it was mine, not SnowItch - he runs Android.

Waze is available for both.

Thx, all! Just downloaded WAZE on my iPhone !

(Yeah, jkay, I asked exact q to SnowItch before. Almost wondered if I need to switch to android since it works so much better w/Q in so many ways anyway... :p Now I guess there's SOME hope for iPhone.. ?:) )
