Hi everyone,

As you are aware we purchased a Q50 S without DAS since it was stated by Infiniti in the owners manual any changes to the wheels/suspension etc can cause sensors to go off and even potentially have the car go in limp mode. Once again we teamed up with the great people at Warren Henry Infiniti and loaned them a set of 20x9 and 20x10.5 Vossen wheels/tires for a week so they could do some real time testing on a loaded Q50S with DAS.

The owner of the car is Carlos a longtime Infiniti salesman there and his feedback is there have been no issues and no sensors have gone off in a week. We are not saying 100% there will be no issues but I just wanted to share what we have found so far.

Hope this gives some of you with DAS some confidence.:) This is with the stock suspension.

Thanks

Good info mike! Was there any change in suspension or was it just the wheels? Same specs as what u guys use in terms of offsets and tire specs?

Edited, thanks. Just the wheels were changed from the stock 19s to 20s. No change in suspension (edited post).

Our recommendations are as close to overall OEM diameter as possible.

Nice! How big is the wheel gap anyway with stock suspension and your wheel and tire configs? Hoping to get some coils soon and maybe go with your wheel and tire specs(but with tires that probably run a little larger) so I can just lower the car no more than 1 inch!

Were the new tires RFT's? I cannot wait to burn them off my Q50 and put some real tires on this great car. I do not have the same confidence level in high speed turns. Seems like they are too hard and the car is a bit tail happy anyway with VDC off! I'm at 3000+ miles and lovin it!

The wheel gap with 20s and stock suspension was surprisingly not as bad as it was with the G37 sedan.

Here is a picture when we had the stock suspension and 20x9/20x10.5 with 245/35/20 & 275/30/20 tires.

More coming soon ;)

I don't see any vossen wheels or a Q50, not sure what you're talking about.

Nice models by the way, the one on the right....;)

Looking forward to seeing more LOL

Can you create a thread just dedicated to Q50's on Vossen wheels with your models?

lol!

I thought we had one, if not sure thing. We were proud to be first to show how the Q50 can look with aftermarket wheels and to pave the way for others.
