I noticed some cars have a feature where you can tag songs that you like on Satellite and somehow that downloads to a smartphone to remind you to purchase it later?

Does the Q have this feature?

Also, I believe I remember seeing the ability to rewind songs, etc. when listening to the radio & SAT on the Q50. Am I remembering that correctly and if so, are people using the feature and what are your thoughts on it?

Edit: it pays to read the manual! Helps to have on the computer for quick searches :)

Found the tagging and instant replay on page 4-16 of the In-touch manual. Can anyone tell me how it works when you tag a song i.e. how your iphone/iPod notifies you.

Still interested I people's thoughts about instant replay as well.

Thanks in advance!,

More just curious about how the song tagging functions with the iPhone/iTunes when you tag something. I think my wife will use it more than me.

The rewind function is pretty cool. I used it on my trip back from Canada to replay certain songs that I really liked. Didn't know about the song tagging, interested to hear how this works.

I think that tagging only works for Apple devices, but I'm not sure. My understanding is that when you have an iPod/iPhone plugged in by USB, the car will tell it what songs you've tagged. When you plug your iPod/iPhone into your computer, iTunes will see that data and present those songs to you for purchase. I've never used it though, so I'm not sure

Used the instant replay tonight in the loaner. Pretty cool! I felt a bit stupid though because I was trying to FF and I was on the live setting. Make sure you REWIND first when you try it out :)
