Spoiler Installed

Dealer called me today to say they got my spoiler in along with another Appearance Pkg they ordered. It came painted from factory so that was nice. Just snapped a couple quickies before it got dark. I'll take a couple more full body shots tomorrow.

Even though its a relatively subtle spoiler I think it suits the car well. I didnt really notice how much better it looks until I looked at a pic from before with the bare trunk. Definitely a nice touch IMO.

Nice, but Im on the fence.

BTW, is Aspen Pearl a color, or is it the same as moonlight white?

Aspen Pearl is what they call Moonlight White up here in Canada ;)
Nice to see it on the actual car instead of the dealer marketing materials.:D

How much is that? Canadian pricing obviously

$400 and I installed it myself
how does it install? 400s a pit pricey for a piece of plastic but it looks pretty good. i live in BC
There are bolts and hardware included in the kit. The bolts are already fabbed into the spoiler itself. I opted to grind them off and used additional 2 sided tape with a few dabs of silicone. The fit is perfect. They do also provide a template for permanent mounting but I would advise having the dealer do it if you dont have any experience. About the cost, meh its just money.

so there is a need to possibly drill for a permanent installation. other wise i could install via m3 double sided tape and silicone
Finally a real life rear lip spoiler for the Q50. I like it. It does make the rear looks nicer. Thanks for sharing.

I really like it, but I don't know about grinding down the bolts. Guess I'll have to have it installed.

Hmm, I can't decide if I like it or not. On the one hand, it looks nice and adds a nice look, but on the other hand, it looks like it is just an afterthought and stuck on.
It looks too "thick" to me. I really prefer the new cars coming out with the spoiler integrated.
Looks good, lot of ppl will hate to drill holes in the trunk but its not difficult install, I did it on my 03 g35 coupe, which had four bolts.

drilling into a lease is just plain stupid. The dealer has to do it.
Hmm!

We need a full rear 3/4 profile to see how the spoiler looks on the car proper. :)

Yes for stupid people but not for knowledgable people, it's easy if you know what the f¥££ you are doing and follow the simple instructions that come with the spoiler along with templates , I know few people who installed spoiler on the convertible which is lot more complex.

First post has one side pose.
Yeah I'm reserving judgment until I see a full side view. The 3/4 rear looks pretty good but I can't get a good idea of the shape of it.

I saw a G37 sedan at the dealer with almost the same spoiler with the cut for the logo and it looked good. I'm glad they quit putting chrome on the top edge of the trunklid, always looked odd to me.
