Since I don't have the Navi, I feel that the upper screen is useless so
what do you guys think about a tablet on the upper screen?
Maybe slapping a 7" or 8".

Mainly for Navi as I currently use my iphone to get around. but its a tablet so i am sure there will a lot of useful apps.

Any chance you guys think 3rd party apps could be developed for the intouch app garage to allow the iPhone screen to be projected via USB or BT to that top screen? Or at least for the top screen to be connected in some way to phone apps.

It could work but I am skeptical that you will end up needing to use that screen at some point and then you'll be in a bad place. Just make sure that you really really don't need the upper screen on your Q50 before you go through with your plan.

And show us some pictures if you go through with it.
