The red does look nice! It has some kind of hue of orange when hit by sunlight! All the colors look awesome! I wish there was an athens blue so it wouldnt be that hard of a choice for me! :(

Yeah it wouldn't hurt to have a dark blue metallic in the lineup. I like the Ultrasonic Blue Mica that Lexus uses on the IS-F also.

Gbert nice find yet again ... Keep EM coming ... Ehh the red doesn't look that good to me ... To me a red car needs to be bright like a fire engine...

Yeah, the European brands are famous for bold, flat colors like alpine white and signal red, but those colors work better with flatter cars. I think a Cadillac would look great in flat colors as well. But the curves and flow of Infiniti's gets lost with flat paint. I'm glad they went with a candy apple red, it looks super deep and the variations in shade where lines split look beautiful. Plus, flat red always ages horribly. I can't count the number of (average) red cars that aren't faded or don't have busted clear coat on them. For some reason it just happens.

Has anyone seen a Q50 in Obsidian or Malbec yet? Obsidian is the flattest color they have but being black and super shiny, it should still show off the lines to a certain extent. Malbec is just so hard to photograph...

I was hoping for the q50 to come in athens blue as well. Too bad, that was such a nice vibrant color it would have gone along with the contours of the Q50 just fine.

Ya, i know man! I mean the Hagane Blue is nice and all but I like the Athens Blue since it looks more sporty while the Hagane Blue seems to be more elegant than aggressive/sporty! Oh well...still awesome colors though!

The red at the NY autoshow had more of a deeper ruby red color than orange in the pics. I wonder if the colors of the camera are calibrated properly? The grass in the background was a bit "vibrant" I prefer reds that have more of a raspberry/black tone.

Welcome to the digital era. I wish people still used film for this stuff.
