My dealer believes there were 2 cars built to this spec prior to the build order they put in for me

He is trying to see if he can fish an early car out of the system for me and expects to know later this week

Mine has been at my dealership since last Friday. Hope Infiniti is still sticking with the 3rd as the sell date but I'm getting a little worried since as of today they still don't have any sales/lease programs released.

I think if I posted what I was ordering now, no one would believe me. I keep changing my mind 100 times a day. Currently "planning" to order Premium RWD fully loaded (Navigation, Deluxe Touring and Technology packages (Tech package is the thing I am still not sure on) possibly getting sports spoiler and front bumper, but will get illuminating kick plates, welcome lighting and a couple other add-ons. As far as color.....that's my biggest angst. I won't order until I see in person but in the running are Malbec Black, Hagane Blue, Graphite Shadow, and Chestnut Bronze. Umm, so basically just about all of them. Want the "tan" leather since I have stone now and dislike black leather.

With all that said, I'll probably end up with Moonlight White with black interior Hybrid AWD!! Haha

Malbec Black with stone/maple
Both were preordered in April, I don't expect either till Aug 15th, which is fine with me as I rather wait till all the hoopla ends��

This thread is a good idea! Too many people post that they got a 'fully loaded' car and that can mean very different things to different people.

That's crazy. Infiniti corporate wouldn't be happy to hear that. The Q50 build site says it's zero obligation. My dealer didn't even want a deposit.

My build is a Hagane Blue deluxe touring with maple, nav, a spare and 17's.

It absolutely is supposed to be completely refundable. I put down a deposit at 2 different dealerships. They took my card number and never even ended up charging my credit card.

Cool Springs is requiring a non-refundable deposit???

I'd tell them to shove it, seriously.

I've bought a G35 and M37 from them, neither of which required anything non-refundable. I hope their sales practices haven't soured since their new fancy remodel.

I had one dealer tell me it was. $1000 NON-refundable deposit and TPA other one did what I asked and emailed me that the deposit is refundable. Guess which one at feel more comfortable with?

I emailed my sale agents twice in the past 4 days to check on the status of my order and so far I don't get any email back from him. This doesn't look good. Not sure what is going on. Before the pre-order, he emails back within hour.

Nothing down for me, it's crazy why dealers are asking for down payment- This is what you get at Infiniti web site when you pre order the Q50.

Haha my salesman has been slow to call me back also. I think they're waiting for news from the mothership and there's literally nothing they can tell us yet. Sinecure has been a good source of info and I imagine he's in the same boat.

Oh not Cool Springs!! I refuse to buy my Q50 from them. Or I should say, they refuse to do business with me because I called them on some sketchy numbers they were trying to get by me when I was considering another car 2-3 months ago. They won't return my emails or calls or respond when InfinitiUSA site tells them to do so.

They are under a new owner so I was hoping for good things but they are worse than ever!! I have always liked their service department but sales, shady!!!!

When the sales manager (who is pouting because he's the one I called out) had a consumer manager respond to my email two weeks ago when I inquired about the Q50, literally saying I WOULD buy one, the message stated he could not help me until he had an invoice in hand. I CALL BS! I immediately called the next closest dealership and they agreed it was not true. I've been working with them ever since. This is the location that requires the non refundable deposit. This rep was initially great but now takes days to get back with me and sometimes just not at all. I may have to contact yet another dealership and see what they offer. WHO KNEW IT WAS SO HARD TO SPEND $50,000!!!!! Haha
