Hello, sorry to do this.

Can anyone quickly answer this for me:

I have stock redsport tires and wheels, will Continental extreme contact: 275/35/19 fit with my stock wheels? It’s a great deal FYI…

I’d use the search but afraid they might be gone by the time I search🤷🏽‍♂️

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: you need to look at the tire spec for the recommended wheel-to-tire matching. Tirerack has this info posted on every tire spec, for example. Then the rear side of your wheel spoke has the width (in inches) embossed.

Screen grab from Continental's web site for the tire and size you mentioned:

I forget, is the OEM RS rim 9 or 9.5" wide? Either way, 275 on a 9.X is going to have a bigger bulge than a male ballet dancer.

OEM wheels for AWD are 9.0 inches wide. Looks better than stretch in my opinion. Plus it protects the rimmzzzzz.

wrong move.

you will regret 275 on a 19x9.

my words will echo in your head until you get the correct width tires or get wider wheels.

Are you saying a 275 on the front is a mistake? I think I saw somewhere on here that 265 was the widest on the front with no rubbing - maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. I don't think a 9.0 wide wheel will be too narrow for a 275 - it's within the manufacturer's specs. I don't really like the look of my 245 winter tires on an 8.5 inch wheel.

I think he's saying a 275mm tire on a 9.0in wheel will produce too much bulge. I tend to agree.

I'm sure there won't be problems behind here's my example 275/40/19
Sure, but what is your rim width?

Я думаю, он говорит, что 275-миллиметровая шина на 9-дюймовом колесе будет давать слишком большую выпуклость. Я склонен согласиться.

Конечно, но какова ширина вашего обода?

265 is the most I've put up front, without rubbing.

you may fit 275 up front. I run 275 square.

The problem is the slop from a 275 on a 9.

265 on a 9 had enough slop that I had to get wider wheels.

steering becomes mushy and clumsy. not sharp.
