Well, it seems like Infiniti must have made a mistake in the building of my car. Someone on this forum guaranteed that Infiniti would not build a Hybrid, non-sport, AWD variation. I got the VIN and build date today, it is in transit, and it is scheduled to get to the dealership August 2nd. Maybe I shouldn't post this, because if Infiniti sees it, they may quietly take the car back so that no one higher up notices their mistake.

Oh, for those who don't get it, the above is pure sarcasm. Hopefully, things will remain on schedule, and the car will be waiting for me when I return from vacation.

You haven't been around very long. If you search for it, you'll find the post I'm referring to, from someone who guarantees whatever he says is accurate(but won't tell us his source). I knew he was wrong then, and he's still wrong.

Come on, somebody just misinterpreted the leaked Canada order guide.
It's true that Infiniti won't build a non-AWD hybrid... for the Canadian market... unless you special order it.

Those who have been here a while should know why I'm being so sarcastic about this. This person, who will remain nameless, was very arrogant about his information, and posted it like he was proud he knew something and we didn't - and when asked for verification, said we were out of bounds for asking, and that he guaranteed that all the information he posted was accurate. THAT'S what ticked me off(and others), and why I felt like posting today. We all might post something that is wrong, and when asked about it, will say where we got the information, or admit we made a mistake. When a person acts the way he did, he deserves to be called out for it. Anyway, I feel good knowing that the car should be here when I get back, though I might consider going back on the order, and seeing what comes in with a rear wheel drive. Oops, I hope I don't sound too much like Infiniti Chick!

Leaving Saturday for Boston, Maine, Montreal, and who knows where else. I'm guessing that I'll be putting on around 3,000 miles on the last trip in my G. Best car I've ever owned, and hopefully, the Q50 will be ready when I get back.

Nice! I went to all three of those places this past year I started in Boston as well, then BlainVille (Quebec) except I was in a rental. Maine I did around November. Hope you have a blast. Take lots of pictures!
