I got some wheels for my car 19x10 front & 19x11.5 rear I’m planning on getting tire size 225/40/19 for the front but not sure what I should go with for the rear. Any suggestions? I dont want much of a stretch just enough for the fender to sit on the lip

225 mm tire on a 10" wheel? That would be way over-stretched IMHO. The minimum tire width for a 10" wheel is 255 mm with an ideal width of 265mm or 275 mm and a maximum width of 285 mm. An 11" wheel has a minimum tire width of 275 mm with an ideal width of 285mm or 295 mm and a maximum width of 305 mm. What is the offset of the wheels you bought? Do you have the Sport brakes? Clearance could be an issue with those wheels.

You may want to consider rotating your photo 90 degrees. Just a thought.

You should check out the wheel and tire fitment thread on this forum. Lots of pictures and ideas. That's what I did.

Those are some huge wheels. I don't know if either size is going to work and you are going to need much wider tires. On a 9.5" inch wheel, I think a 275 works well. I have never even looked at the specs for a 11.5" wheel.

Shoot...I listed tire sizes for an 11" wheel. For an 11.5" wheel width, the minimum tire width is 285 mm with an ideal width of 295 or 305 mm. Maximum tire width 315 mm.

Check out the sites online...search for tire size calculator
It helped me a great deal when I swapped out my wheels.
