Anyone purchased TPMS units for their Q50 yet? just received my new Vossen Wheels today and would like to get 4 aftermarket units vs taking the OEM's out of the original wheel and tires. i have noted a few types on Ebay and other sites for @ 170.00 for 4. the last 3 sets i purchased for my C6 Corvettes were all Aftermarket and worked great, just curious of anyone has a particular brand that has worked. tires are on the way so hope to get these mounted this week and on the ground if the snow melts in STL !

The best way to find right aftermarket TPMS sensors is to get OEM part number from your dealer and then you can see who has the replacement TPMS sensors for the OEM sensors.

Are oem and aftermarket pricing really that different though? Is there any advantage of going aftermarket?

Kinda curious since this is the first time ive dealt with TPMS

Part Number

After checking looks like the same part from the G37 and FX is compatible . you can purchase on line and from local NAPA stores.
more interested with who may have bought already... i will have a set in the next day or so and share the best solution / deal i have found. didn't seam to make sense taking the ones out of the factory wheels in case i wanted to switch for weather or?

the primary fit - is the MHZ signal which looks to be 315 for all Infinities .

Tpms

Will DO ! I am going with the Falcon 722 series all season tires. look to be good for both all conditions and wear with a quiet ride. I have the run flats so looking forward to softer quieter ride.

245-40-20 F
275-35-20 R

with the Vossen CV5 MAtt Graphite and Machined . 9 and 10.5 staggered they looked better than i had expected when i opened the boxes today ! i have the AWD Sport so going for the taller tire to fill the wheel well gap.

Offset

Yes, on the Offset ! next looking for a aftermarket grill that will allow for the emblem to be removed. I removed most of the other emblems on the body..

Hmmm...i dont know bro! I tried to do a photoshop mockup of the grille without the infiniti logo and it didnt look right! Only emblemless grille that might look good would probably be something like this:

The TPMS sensors run about $245 a pop from the dealer. If you have the stock wheels, it may be better to just swap them out at the dealership into your new wheels. Since the Q50 is so new, there is a risk of going aftermarket because there has not been many companies that have produced parts for this vehicle yet. They are starting to come out, but you will always have the risk of going aftermarket on parts until they get figured out.
