The manual says:

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
transmitter components: Replace the TPMS
transmitter grommet seal, valve core and
cap when the tires are replaced due to
wear or age.

Has anyone ever performed the above maintenance on the Q50, or any other vehicle?

The kit is about $5 each, good idea to do it but I have never done it on any of my infiintis.

Any idea what this would cost from the dealer?
about $100

maddsiick,

I wouldn't bother yet. Do it when you replace those tires for wear. We do it when we replace tires, I believe.

I usually buy my tires through Americas Tire and negotiate the TPMS rebuild in to the price but it's pretty cheap anyway. Never asked a dealership to do it though as they usually decline matching the installed price of Americas Tire.
