Nice pics in the article. Love that Hagane Blue ;)

Though the review reads like it got cut off at the end.

Those first two pictures look like the same driveway that someone posted yesterday

we really do have to appreciate the driver-focused interior, glad to see Infiniti going into the right direction with this car. An interior that isn't driver focused in a car like this will make it lose some big points

Q50 Hybrid
The Q50 Hybrid is not only fast off the line, but also projected as one of the most fuel-efficient. It combines a 3.5-litre 24-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy V6 and compact laminated lithium ion battery design with an innovative one-motor/two-clutch motor control. The system’s V6 is rated at 302-hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The advanced 50kW electric motor is rated at 67-hp and 214 lb-ft of torque, netting 360-hp. My Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport AWD showed strong acceleration with lean fuel economy over our 3-plus hour drive from Toronto to Muskoka.

On the Road
No shocker, but this luxury rocket is brilliant on the open road. And perhaps the greatest reason: Direct Adaptive Steering — the world’s first production vehicle design developed after more than ten years of research. Essentially, this system allows independent control of the Q50′s tire angle and steering inputs, transmitting the driver’s intentions to the wheel faster than a mechanical system. So what exactly does this mean to you? A better, direct performance feel via intuitive communication between you and the road surface.
Paired to the five Q50 driving profiles, the Direct Adaptive Steering really shines. The profiles include Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Personal. The latter allowing customization by driver preference or road conditions to change both steering effort and the steering gear ratio. A backup mechanical steering system is provided with Infiniti Q50 models equipped with the Direct Adaptive Steering

With the advanced 7-speed automatic transmission, switching gears manually with the steering column-mounted magnesium paddle shifters is effortless and responsive. Through the windy, steeps roads, the Infiniti Q50 RWD Sport held it’s own, equipped with the sport-tuned suspension (available with the Sport models) and a stiffer front body design than the outgoing G37 model. - See more at: http://www.tractionlife.com/first-drive-2014-infiniti-q50/#!prettyPhoto

Nice to read a positive review on the DAS - seems like this reviewer liked it a lot. I'm glad he was actually hitting on the high points of it and practicality rather than treating it as if the Q50 is suppose to be a formula 1 car. People may call me bias since I'm obviously a huge Q50 advocate, and I like that this guy put in a 3-hour road trip to actually test the systems out in a real-world scenario. I'm not sure how long the other reviewers spent with the car, but they made it seem like it was all track testing and mountain roads, something the majority of us don't get to frequent.

I do agree that the article did end pretty abruptly, kinda weird, but overall a good review. Lord knows Infiniti needs them!

Strangely, the servers at tractionlife.com are offline this morning. Thank you, cfrp, for posting highlights. It's a pleasure to digest the warm response of the reviewer who appears to feel more like we forum members do about our, "luxury rockets."
This reads like a work of an armature who copied paragraphs from
infiniti's PR material (hoping to be invited to
O the next event).
