Transmission Sport Mode

I still keep forgetting to slide my transmission switch to "SPORT" until half my drive is over. The fact that the switch is out of sight makes it worse. Is this annoying to anyone else? Why won't Infiniti just let us keep it there like our steering and other personal settings?

You're right that the default upon start up should be what we left it as when we turned the car off. However, I've gotten used to making the switch at start up. The switch is out of sight? It's next to your arm, and the mode is shown on the VID! Maybe because I'm a little under 70 is the reason I've adjust so well. :D

Well, you always were good at adapting to new technologies ;)

Redundant I know but a big +1 for remembering drive modes with the iKey.

It's part of my pre flight checklist. I turn on my personal drive mode and enable the safety shield

I actually keep all the monitoring systems on all the time, and only engage the active intervention systems when on the highway.

as for DAS, I have it set for normal effort and quick ratio. I will engage sport mode after break in period is over. About 200 miles to go!
