Hello,
Has anyone figured out how to get video to the nav screen?

What devices and wire combos are you using? are you guys using apple? Android?

Will video work will a thumb drive or hard drive? if so what file format are the video's in? .mov, .mp4 what container H.264?

In my old 2008 g37s, it had composite connections that allowed me to connect my ipod and play video through it. My Q50s only has 1 video composite in with 3.5mm headphone jack. Seems as though one member here on this site got his ipod working with this Apple Composite AV Cable - Apple Store (U.S.) composite wire with the headphone jack connected to audio in.. The problem with that is there is no way to charge the iPod since the charging port will be used by this wire.

Also haven't tried just yet, but does the cd player still serve as a DVD player?

Well if you guys have figured this out, please post your device and wire combos to get video to the nav. Thanks guys!!!

I was talking to Sam at Beat Sonic in Cali and he said they dont have a bypass for the Q50 yet but he asked for the following info:

Parking brake wire (pin#)
Vehicle speed sensor wire (pin#)
Connector info: shape, pin numbers and location *diagram of the connector

If anyone can provide that info then I will see what I can do.

whats a better way to play video threw the systm?
I didn't know it was possible to throw any part of the car without first taking the car apart.. Oh, I get it - you want to throw the entire system.

If English is a second language for you, I apologize.

As far as playing a video through the system, I'm sure you plan to only watch the video while the car is stationary, right? Not like the dangerous idiot who clipped my bumper on I-75 years ago, while watching a video on his navigation screen. Yeah, right.:(

You want to throw the system? Won't you have to take apart the car to do that?

If English is a 2nd language for you, then I apologize. If it isn't, well.......

O.K., if you want to play a video through the system, I'm sure you will only watch it while the car is stationary, right? Not like the dangerous idiot who clipped my bumper on I-75 many years ago, while watching some kind of video. Yeah, right.:(

When I was pre-ordering my car dealer told me user manual will be electronic with video playing on InTouch screen. Never happened...
