The sat pic is a little different than the other models. My wife has a JX and she gets temps and a little more user friendly sat map. On the Q50 you get a good overview of the radar but not the detail that was in the JX. At least that's all I can see - I may not have found the settings to make it look like the JX.

I found the nation map. It shows 3 different conditions which can be layered. Pretty sweet for a road trip i must say.

Did that but all I see is the day and 5 day forecast. No map.. Maybe cause the loaner don't have sat?

Can't believe the fawning over a weather map. Come on people, this type of app is unusable while driving. I'm certain that your smartphone has far better weather apps.

This morning I received a verbal Waze report that it was snowing less than a mile ahead.

How about a more practical app: list gas prices on the navi map.

Who said I was using it while driving?

Don't turn into the "get of my lawn" guy KLamalama ;)

Like this?:D

Yes! just like that dear....or deer......;)

selzini: from this moment forward I vow to sully your posts (when I comment), with some of the most egregious grammatically incorrect and horrific sentences ever concocted by a human. Starting with that one. You're eyes will bleed, and my limited vernacular will seep into your textbook posts.

O.K., though I was just being a little funny. I wasn't criticizing you at all. (My textbook post???:D)

I am of course joking as well. I always appreciate the humor when someone contributes to slow spiral of internet grammar, myself included. :) I actually laughed out loud when I saw the picture and had to go back to confirm my interweb butchering of the english language.

I'm really confused now. There was nothing in your post that was incorrect(as I said, I was just trying to be funny - everyone likes pretty pictures:)). The use of "fawning," was not only correct, but very much to the point of emphasis that you were making. Well done - I give you an A+ for originality.:D
