any interest in them? are they available yet?

EDIT!

Anybody that would like to see the Weathertechs for the Q50, please go to the WeatherTech site and fill out the product request form. If they don't see the interest, they won't make them for the Q50 (please fill out the form even if you're only thinking of them as an option).

Product Request Form | Product Request Form | WeatherTech.com

You have to check the box under the dropdowns in order to manually enter the Q50. On the Product Interest dropdown, select "Floor Mats - All Weather.

I think the only ones we've had in so far are ones that came with cars ordered that way.

That's pretty awesome, can't beat free.

Do you know how much they go for usually?

Would you be able to take pictures of it just so we can compare it to mats from aftermarket brands?
You're new around here aren't you!:D I don't have a digital camera, and I just developed the film with the Q50 pictures. I thought about taking a picture of the trunk, but didn't for some reason. Sorry. I don't know how much they cost. The dealer gave them to me because I ordered the cargo package, and even though they aren't part of that, he told me to keep them, because it was more of a hassle to them to do the paperwork. OR, maybe he just likes me.;)

Definitely the former...:D

I have WeatherTechs for my Equinox. I am impressed with both the fit and the quality of materials.

The WeatherTech digital fits are far superior to any oem weather mat. Looking forward the offerings from WT or Husky for these molded floor mats.

They do wonders in keeping the interior clean.
Agreed. I had them in my TL and when I traded it in, the floors were immaculate.

I ended up buying oem rubber mats ($120) because NOTHING in general stores (Canada) fitted in this car. I was surprised to find out that floor space (also: glove compartment, center compartment and trunk) in Q50 is TINY compared to my out going friend Accord.

Not happy with oem's as they do not provide enough coverage for debris.

I love the Weathertech products. I have had them in our last two SUVs and they fit perfectly. Plus, because of the raised and molded edges, any type of spill will be contained and not bleed into the carpet.

They are usually pretty good at rolling out new packages each year based on new manufactured models so I'm sure they will have some custom fit molds ready for the Q50 pretty soon.

IMO, these are a must if you live in a cold weather climate where you can track in snow/slush. I live in Florida, however I still use them to keep the sand and other stuff that shoes drag into the cars contained.

They are worth their price at trade in or resale time because when you pull them out, the interior looks new underneath!

Edit: I sent Weathertech an email asking them about product availability for the Q50 and will provide an update after they respond.

I did the same last week and they responded with the following:

Thank you for your interest in Weathertech! Unfortunately, our product development team has not started production on the 2014 Infiniti Q50 yet. Typically the manufacturing process takes 3 months to complete. If you would like us to contact you once the product is available, please submit a product request form using the following link. Car Mats, Floor Mats, Cargo Liners, Side Window Deflectors | WeatherTech.com.

Looks like it wont be out for a while.

I had to do a little negotiating, but I also got my dealer to give these to me for free.
Ditto here, except I didn't do any negotiating - they gave them to me, saying that someone inadvertently wrote down I should get them, and it was too much trouble to undo things.:D And yes, they fit perfectly - especially the trunk mat.

Yeah they fit great and I love that they go over the carpeted ones in the back and cover up that protruding clip that holds them in place.

But what trunk mat? I didn't get one of those. Is it carpeted or rubber?

I think it's something they do during PDI, they get a parts list of what needs to be added, it's possible the tech who did your PDI forgot this. Make sure to bring this up.
To be clear, I didn't purchase this option. I had the dealer throw in the all-season mats, which evidently does NOT include the trunk mat (according to my sales guy, anyway). He said that's a separate item and it costs about $65. I was hoping they'd throw that in too, but maybe I can at least get a discount on it.
