Only problem with black is that you need to keep it's paint in like-new condition for it to continue to look good. Black is one of those colors that makes the smallest scratches seem worse than they are. Even just keeping them clean can be tough. But if you don't mind giving them the extra care that's needed....it can be one of the best looking colors!black & white looks good in any light
As the owner of 3 black vehicles in a row, I know this all to well. Black is typically THE best looking color when clean and shiny. But it is the absolute hardest to keep that way. Every speck of dust shows, every drop of water can leave a spot if not wiped off. LOVE black cars, but they're WORK to keep'em looking good. That, along with the fact that I really like the look of the Graphite Shadow on the Q50, makes we want to step out of my black car routine this time around.Only problem with black is that you need to keep it's paint in like-new condition for it to continue to look good. coming off a string of silver cars and now owning my first black car, I agree 100%. Left bird poop on the hood overnight, clear coat etched in the morning. I couldn't believe my eyes. This thing will have to be babied. As the owner of 3 black vehicles in a row, I know this all to well. Black is typically THE best looking color when clean and shiny. you should look at getting a "new car prep" or Opti-Coat applied.coming off a string of silver cars and now owning my first black car, I agree 100%. Left bird poop on the hood overnight, clear coat etched in the morning. I couldn't believe my eyes. This thing will have to be babied.
Graphite Shadow has been the same for quite a few years now since it's used across the lineup on pretty much every Infiniti. The M/Q70 also offered a different shade called Storm Front Grey and the FX/QX70 (among others) had Platinum Graphite. But at least since the G37 it has been the same color.Does anyone know if they changed the "graphite shadow" (or equivalent gray) color between the 2014 and 2015 models, or were both '14 and '15 using the same exact graphite shadow paint?
