5W30 can void the warranty?? The owner's manual says:
"Genuine 'Nissan Motor Oil 0W-20 SN' is
recommended. If the above motor oil is not available, use an equivalent motor oil that matches the above grade and viscosity."

5W30 is listed here as an option. Infiniti states in the second sentence above that they "recommend the use of an energy conserving oil (0W20) in order to improve fuel economy." They make no statement about using a slightly higher viscosity causing engine damage and indicate in the diagram above that 5W30 is an acceptable alternative in warmer climates.
Tell your dealer to RTFM.
