Dude this is sick, I signed up here just because I saw this thread. I've been looking at alternatives for my 2015's InTouch system but really wanted to keep things looking stock, I don't particularly like those "Tesla style" replacements that are out there.

Strongly considering signing onto the waitlist, but would I need to source the newer hardware first, or is that part of the kit?

You will need to buy a DCU, Integral Switch, and A/V Control Unit from a 2020+ Q50 plus a set of LVDS cables. They are not part of nickdaria's kit. I hope you're not in a hurry if you're considering this modification. I bought the above hardware in August of last year and I'm first on the list. Still waiting on nickdaria to finish the kit.

What about the antenna connectors? Did you ever find a source for them?

You will need the AV control unit, top screen, and bottom screen. If you want USB-C w/fast charging, you will also need the USB assembly under the center console. It will work with your existing HVAC + TCU. There is a wait because I have 2 people ahead of you for harness kits and I am finalizing design + software, but I can get you the rest right after.

Also do not plug in connectors that seem to match, the pinouts are completely different (as in sending speaker output through a CAN line different), so don't try to toss it in.

Aha, thanks! I'm definitely in no hurry for this. I'm definitely considering it though, since I kinda want to keep my Q50 around.

You can hmu on IG : Rashaad_Nismo , also there is a few more part out I will hit if anyone is interested! Sadly I will be keeping the upper display screen connector as I needed it. Could you do 350? I'll have to source a top screen and I paid 400 for my entire assembly.

I did a cool custom one on mine. Knob and boot are both OEM but did a cool alcantara trim to "match" the blue exterior of the car and bring some life to the cabin, with a carbon fiber rear

Surprisingly it still looks this pristine after about 10 months!

I know I'm skirting the line between tasteful and tacky with this one but I feel as though our interiors need every bit of personality they can get
