I love every single part except the taillights. I wish they made them more L shape and Skyline like in the lighting.

That part that I circled in red is screaming to be painted black or have a diffuser added. But I agree, it looks great in white!

I personally have no issues with the taillamp design because the taillights themselves are so distinct in their shape

The taillights are nice since they mirror the headlights in appearance somewhat. That was a cool touch that the designers added.

I was just about to say that as well, seems like something is missing from that area. I could just see an aftermarket company with the same idea making a diffuser in carbon fiber. A company like Wald International could fab something up real nice.

totally agree with making that part black, it will help with making the Q50 look more sporty but some people may not like it. probably better if Infiniti leave it as is. A lot of car makers do this and have an area of the bumper styled like that and they leave it the same color as the body.

Maybe Infiniti could come up with exterior accessories to add on and make it more aggressive or sportier.

And could possible be like this

or even an undertray type diffuser for the Q50

I'd love it if they added something like that to the Q lineup for the existing/past aerodynamic package that's offered a la carte along with the black grille

The white looks good with a black rear diffuser. It wouldnt be too hard to paint the area black on the q50 as there is an indent there.

It's so easy to do it with vinyl wrap or even plasti-dip so this can happen really soon since vinyl wrap and plasti-dip are easy to undo unlike paint.

Paying $10 for vinyl or plastidip sure beats paying hundreds for paint.

I think that it should be painted black on all of the Q50's with the sports package, kind of like a signature for the sports package.

Yeah, I wouldn't see why not. I think most buyers would like to see that.

They've already said that all Sport models on the Q50 will now have a black grille. Might as well black-up the rear end as well!

Yeah, or at least make it an option that requires the sports package. It would be cool if they did that and added blacked out chrome with it, kind of like the M psckage for BMW.

Yeah thats a good suggestion to separate the different models in the line up. esepecially being a sport model it would make it stand out more. Maybe even if they had a abs plastic cover on it to make it stand out a bit more.

It's strange how they leave an indentation on that part but don't do anything to it. Seems like most of the Nissans have this indent too. Its good though because it leaves room for aftermarket companies to fabricate something to fill it in.
