Has anyone bought one yet for the Q50? Seems to me to be kinda dumb to get expensive ceramic tint and then leave the windshield open to all the heat.

Already have a fantastic one for my G that I bought from Walmart last yr for about 20 bucks. Still going strong; I'll be using that.

FYI - You can get a clear ceramic "tint" for your windshield

Yea I'm aware, I've seen people talking about Llumar Air Blue 80 and a couple others, but the %IR blocking is pretty low...

Back floor; it's out of direct sight & easy to access. Rarely have backseat passengers myself.

Sunshade

Try Eclipse Sunshades. They are custom fit, attach to the edge of the windshield and expand open with velcro to connect them. They work great. Of course, if you don't want anything to show on your windshield you will not like them. But in AZ and SoCal they are very handy and take up no room in the backseat or trunk. Makes it very easy to get used to them visually.
