I’m a little frustrated as I spent a few grand with them a couple weeks before the contest started. I wonder, though I doubt, if they’ll apply even half of what I spent with them this year to entry into this contest!

I went through the rules. As usual, no purchase necessary, but IF you purchase, you automatically get at least one entry per dollar spent.

These win a car things from buying a shirt is pretty neat, like the 80Eighty things. I met a guy at a local car meet where he won his Skyline from the 80Eighty thing. I always thought the winners were faked but it was legit, they flew him out to the USA, and he drove the car back all the way to Canada.

Huh? How can they say a purchase will NOT increase your chances of winning?!?!? If I don't purchase something I get 1 entry. If I buy something for $100, I get 100 entries. How does having 100 entries not increase the odds of winning of someone that only has 1 entry??????

I'm guessing that any purchase no matter what size enters your name once and only once and you can have your name entered without any purchase once and only once.

Their rules state that you get 1 entry for every $1 spent on their website, which increases to 2 entries for every $1 spent on sponsoring vendors, 3 entries for every $1 spent on "exclusive sponsoring vendors", or 4 entries for every $1 spent for eligible Z1 motorsports products.

Otherwise you can send in a piece of paper in a specific size with specific hand-written (not reproduced/photocopied/etc) information that must be mailed back individually in a specific sized envelope. One entry per envelope. They've done everything they can to say "BUY SOMETHING" without telling people they have to buy something. Not that I blame them.
