Hi folks. Here's a problem that the service people at my dealership (Jim Coleman Infiniti) say they don't know what to do about: my 2014 infiniti q-50 will not recognize my ipod when it's plugged into the usb port. It used to work okay, but stopped working about a month or so ago. I thought this might have something to do with recent IOS updates, but remembered - my ipod doesn't communicate with the internet, its operating system couldn't have been updated. Any ideas? Should I press the dealership to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Just for something to try. Do a complete reset (wipe and restore) to your iPod and see if that helps. I had a lot of trouble with a third gen Nano until I upgraded.

Another possibility is that the battery in the iPod is kaput.
