Almost got a spit-take out of me, the price is a reach doesn't seem like it should cost anymore than $700-$800.
I know there are R&D costs involved but lets face it they aren't going to sell many of these at the current price. lol

I agree these engines are pretty ugly without the cover...

Perhaps the cover can be strategically trimmed to a minimum amount around those units. Don't recall off the top of my head where the cover mounting points are in relation to the IC's though.

They are pretty ugly with the engine cover on as well IMO. The rats nest of cables and odd shape of the Intake manifold always drove me nuts with the VR30. Granted the manifold is a non issue with the cover on but I can't say I'm a fan of plastic engine covers in general but given how much a metal one would cost I guess it is what it is.

Still amazed Nissan/Infiniti haven't updated the wiring harness to clean up the engine bay though.
