I finally dug into my dash and discovered that Infiniti did indeed create a way to replace this without removing a single screw. Id say I could do the replacement now in about 5 mins, knowing the steps.
Here is a video showing everything disassembled, but instructions on how to do it.
If you guys have really small hands, I think you could maybe do it, without even pulling the glove box down at all, but I couldn't quite pull it off. You can see the door that blocks the white door housing the filter just by opening your glove box. It just pops off.

1. Remove side trim piece
2. Remove bottom piece, underneath dash
3. Open glove box
4. Flat head screw driver, pop off spring cable on right side of glove box
5. Push entire glove box right, to pop out post from groove
6. Push glove box left, with left side post out, and pop out right post
7. Let glove box fall down all the way, or pull straight out do dislodge hinges of glove box to mounts
8. Pop off black plastic door revealing door for filter
9. Pop off right side of white door
10. Remove white door and filter
11. Replace filter with air flow going downward.
12. Reverse procedure.
