Though my premium is higher than what is posted here, I carry more coverages(such as rental car and travel expenses), and have a smaller deductible($250 instead of $500). Also, liability coverage is 100,000 - 300,000, instead of the 30,000 - 60,000. My total is $475 every six months.

I guess it pays to be older, have no chargeable accidents, and one ticket(46 years ago).

Nope, it's because you live in Tennessee and not CA, NY, or NJ.

Of course, that's part of it, but I know that having no accidents or tickets will lower the premium.

I wish I paid as little as you guys. I pay $1567 every 6 months and I have no accidents in the last 5+ years and no tickets.

22 years old and under my dads plan but my rate here in NH is still $235 per month! That seems kind of ridiculous. What should I do?!?

See if there's a way to accelerate the aging process by three years. Of course, that's impossible, but it IS a fact that MARRIED men get a lower rate than single ones. under 25. However, that isn't a great reason to walk down the aisle.
