hey everyone so I just got my 2014 Q50 3.7 4 days ago. And I didn’t then but I do now notice a very faint ticking. I noticed it at a drive thru. The sound was bouncing off the wall. So I got out and I could hear it if I got down to my front wheels. So I’m not sure if it’s my lifters or I saw other places it could be my fuel injectors but I’m really not sure. I honestly don't hear anything really abnormal from that video. I hear the regular, normal sounds. There's always a ticking sound from the injectors and sometimes the fuel pump. Open the hood. If it's really loud, use a stethoscope and see if you can pinpoint it. But from that video, it sounds quite normal. I just went through an incident with a LOUD ticking sound. It was quite obvious. Even with the hood closed. It wound up being a broken spring on an AMS HPFP. The HPFP is located on top of the engine on the drivers side near the front. EDIT: I just realized that's a 3.7. The information I provided is regarding a 3.0. I'm not sure if it really applies, as I have no experience with the 3.7.
