Very nice,,the newer knob is definitely a good solid shifter and somehow I ve refrained from any sexual comments lol 😆

 

Do like the newer shifter other than having the Infiniti logo on it. Already reminded of what I'm driving several other places, haha. Least it's small and subtle for the most part though on that 'knob.

 

Since I don't have as much self control as @Brianq50sport , judging from the first pic, you should put your pants back on and quit playing with your knob. Looks like you updated to a circumcised knob.

Has anyone 3M PPF their shift knob? I'm thinking of doing that to protect the black part from scratches.

 

Just replace the damn thing when it's worn. It's about $120. Use hand moisturizer. It's got more than one purpose.

 

Just put a condom on it.

What do you wear on your right hand that you are worried about scratching the shift knob?

...or plastic polish from time to time, which will remove fine scratches and swirls. Unless you get wild with the knob one day and gouge it or something, lol.

Looks good, not sure I'd bother with PPF looks a bit beat up and nicked already but that could just be the lighting. But yeah gloss piano black is the worst thing to keep clean and scratch free. If it bugs you worth a shot though not like 3M PPF Film is expensive.
