Hey guys,
I had a question regarding the turbos on the Q50/Q60, my current vehicle is a Q60RS400 2017, but I am thinking about either upgrading to R/T turbos, OR getting turbos from a 2020 Q60RS400 with 15k miles~
So I have several questions: Is there a difference between the 2017 turbo and the 2020 turbo? Any redesign that makes it more reliable, or was that only with the motor?
And secondly, if I wanted to upgrade to R/T turbos what specifically would I need?
I know that a tune would be needed, but beyond that to make it a reliable daily.
2020 Q60RS400 turbos: $400 for each side, so total of $800.
R/T tuning turbos: $3,500 (no core).
Also quick update regarding my last post about my turbos and engine blowing up, I secured one... $4,600 (total) with 50k miles w/o turbos. Some informative information for anyone looking out there...
Thank you!
