Exclamation Lucy Build Thread

To start things off here are some pics of my final days with Oreo! You've served me well and definitely miss that hybrid power while driving!

But I guess there comes a time where we need to move on! So in comes Lucy! The 2015 Infiniti Q50 in Venetian Ruby!

The name Lucy came from the name Lucifer or Devil because she is red and Hambreezy and Elara2427 were the demons who convinced me to make the trade!

I knew she was special because I tried to find the color and package I wanted and got nothing in Cali other than a Stone interior one! The closest I got with the package I wanted was at Sewell Infiniti at Houston, TX and I was supposed to get it till they called and said that it was their test drive vehicle!

We ended up getting one in Scottsdale, AZ instead that had the package I wanted plus a spoiler, nitorgen filled tires and tints included! Originally I didnt really want those extras but I am glad we ended up with this car! Special thank to Southbay Infiniti for their efforts!

Looking forward towards another awesome build!

Is the difference in power that noticeable?

Thanks man! It is quite noticeable! That initial kick that the hybrid gives isnt there! It doesnt really throw me back to my seat compared to the hybrid!

You may have said this previously, but why the change from the hybrid to non-hybrid?

The longevity of ownership! I plan to keep the car and so the hybrid battery will be a problem when it goes out! As of now, its said that its 10k to replace the battery but I am pretty sure it wont be as costly down the road when it really matters(maybe 12 or 15yrs later?)! Also, my gas savings isnt really that justified with the amount of miles I drive! I work about 2.5 miles from my place and the hybrid battery doesnt really kick in by the time I get to work, so there is no real savings there!

Another thing that made me change is the trunk space! I "might" have plans to go with bags later down the road and that space is quite essential for me to acheive that!
