Hello all. I recently learned about the Infiniti Q50 and fell in love. I've been searching to try to find key differences between the '14 and '15 model years and the Q50 premium and Q50S. If anyone could pinpoint the main and minor differences between those I would really appreciate it.

P.S. If this is already a thread and I've overlooked it I apologize to the admins and will understand if this needs to be deleted. Thanks to all in advance!

I was looking at a consumer reports magazine.. may or may not be reliable info I guess.. And it claimed the 2014 to be more reliable than the 2015. From what I can tell it's the same powertrain so it was kind of confusing. Let me see if I can find a link or something so you can tell me what you think.

I've read some posts on here about needing updates for the 2014 infotainment system, I don't care to pay more for the 2015 but can anyone shed some light as to why Consumer Reports would rate the 2014 as a more reliable model than the 2015?

So I found a 2014 premium AWD for 19800 with 53k miles, placed $500 deposit for them to go get it (it was in another state at one of their related dealerships) and was told it would be here today. I get a call today saying that dealership had already sold it when they got there but they have instead a 2015 premium with 38k miles but it's RWD. I really had my heart set on AWD just because I found out you can unplug the AWD in the trunk for full RWD anytime you want. Also I noticed in the pictures online it has DISP instead of MAP VOICE on the center console so I'm guessing that means it doesn't have navigation either. Can you convert RWD back to AWD on these cars the way you can go AWD>RWD? or should I just wait till I find an AWD I want?

None of the problems from the 2014 was enough to deter me, this is a luxury car.. I'm 26 coming from a Pontiac Vibe GT... I'm sure it's going to do more than impress me. It just seemed odd that the 2014 got rated higher than the 2015 even tho same powertrain. If anything you would think through refinement that the 2015 would be better unless where the 2014 was the breakout year for the Q that Infiniti wanted to go all out for the quality control and making sure everything was great on the car and maybe by 2015 the manufacturer workers weren't under as much pressure so they started slacking a bit...(quite a bit of reaching lol but just trying to guess).
