Hello Everyone,
I have been developing and offering simple, plug-and-play kill switches for the Q50 and Q60 platform for over 6 months. Most of my business has been through Facebook and Instagram, with over 75 kits sold.
I have signed up as a vendor here to offer these options to our members.
Unfortunately, theft is on the rise, and Qs are being targeted as they are very common, but also very fun vehicles to drive. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH that this epidemic is NOT A FAULT OF INFINITI/NISSAN. It is a fault of not having checks and balances that prevent the average person from buying the tools to clone keys of almost any vehicle. This is done with a handheld device that can be bought on common sites and takes 30 seconds to make almost any key from the OBD2 port.
Now that you are caught up to speed, let's talk about what my products are and their intended use.
At the moment, I offer two different kits for the Q50/Q60. Both are plug and play, with no wire cutting or splicing. These kits are deterrents. They are meant to slow down the wannabe thief and discourage them from taking your vehicle. These were designed with the idea of slowing them down to the point where they give up, as they don't want the risk of being caught.
My most popular kit is the OBD2 kit. This kit disables the ability to use the OBD2 port and stops them from rewriting new keys or possibly damaging your BCM. Works Great with Factory REMOTE START. Anything plugged into OBD2 port will still work.
My second kit, and the original kit, is a classic fuel pump power cut-off switch, but with a twist. This kit cuts power to the fuel system, leaving the vehicle unable to start or starving out the vehicle within seconds of it being started. The twist is a secondary failsafe built into the fuel system that requires some know-how to reset it. That information is included in the kit. DO NOT USE REMOTE START when this switch enabled. Vehicle will starve out.
Both use a Simple Toggle Switch that you are required to hide. That is the hardest part, where to hide it so that its out of the way and easy to access as well.
Enough talking, how do I buy, and what will it cost?
I have set up an online store, and those who use the link below or the code Q50Forum will get 25% off from now until April 15th. 3 different options to chose from.
