The Integral Switch includes the lower display but does not include radio functions. That is in the AV Control Unit. If you replaced the AV Control Unit, that requires configuring the new one with a CONSULT to match your car's specific configurations. Replacing only the Integral Switch does not require configuration.

 

I have replaced dcu from another car, integral switch but not the AV control unit. Wether in Canada is changing and I need my climate control working

 

Replacing the DCU also requires saving the configuration of your specific car to a CONSULT and then writing that configuration into the new DCU. Unless you get lucky and buy a DCU that happens to be configured exactly like your old DCU was anyway.
