Here's the problem. I have an Infiniti Q50 that has a C13F2 error code "software mismatch" since I replaced one of the modules that assist with the "Drive by Wire" system. I've heard that I had to replace all 3 modules to get back to normal, where they have to come from the same vehicle if "used". if it's "new" I would need them to be programmed to my car which there aren't any dealers within Jamaica.
1. What would I need to update/reprogram the module(s) with the latest information from Nissan?
2. If I get 3 modules from a used car that had a working DAS system, would that solve my issue?
3. Attached is a recall order made by Infiniti. It has MY error code in the document where I got the code from a replacement and not "a fault"; which means I should get reprogramming done?
Anyone who could give me their insight or experience I'd greatly appreciate it!
P.s. Yes, I did call a Nissan/Infiniti dealer who emplored that I replace all 3 modules "New". as getting "used" ones would have the VIN of the previous car in it. To me, they have to say crazy things like that, it's how they make money and keep their job.
