Evening! This is a public service announcement for anyone still operating their Red Sport (or other) vehicle with run-flat tires. I purchased my 2018 Red Sport (AWD) about three years ago from a local dealer. Prior to the purchase, they installed Bridgestone DriveGuard Plus run-flat tires. Initially, as it was my first experience without a spare tire, I didn't know the difference. I drove the car through an autocross event, some spirited drives on backroads, and some enthusiastic highway runs. I liked the car but was frustrated with its driving dynamics. It felt harsh, struggled with cornering, and overall felt clunky compared to my expectations. Since then, I've made several modifications, including a rear stabilizer, Fast Intentions cat-back exhaust, a heat exchanger, and drop-in panel filters. Despite these changes, I still considered trading it for SOMETHING Audi.

Fast forward to Friday, I installed four new ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires. Today, I took the car out for a run on my local winding roads. All I can say is that I should have done this from the start. It's a completely different car. To everyone on the forum who consistently advises to 'drop the run-flats,' my apologies for not listening sooner. For those still using run-flat tires, I recommend switching to experience the true potential of your car . PSA over!
