Over on the infinitiq60.org site, a British Q60 owner bought a used Q60 w/Navigation and every time he arrived home using his navigation, the sound system emitted a "Meow". He had programmed his home address as a "Home Location" under the "Stored Location" tab. However, he was flummoxed as to why the car was emitting a "Meow" from the sound system. It drove him crazy, until we figured it out...

I made screen shots to get to the right screen:
98714

98713

98715

Under the submenu of "Alarm Sounds":
98716

98717

98718

So selecting "None" will turn off the sound.

Can't believe Infiniti engineers spent development $ and time to give us these sound wave choices, but opted not to incorporate something more useful, like, ApplePlay, perhaps? smh

I need to change the distance. 1000' it goes of way to early, and 1st time it was VERY loud!😱

No way would I have found this being buried so deep in the menus. I took a screen shot of the post so I'll rember how to shut off or change the sound.

Thanks

I don't need a cat to tell me I'm home. I listened to them and left it off.

One of the reasons I'm thinking Tesla.
