Hey everyone!

I've been lurking the forums for awhile now and figure it's about time I join and introduce myself. My name is Caleb and I'm from Chicago. I picked up my 2014 Q50 back in February, replacing a Jaguar XFR.

The spec wasn't exactly what I was after, but found myself too good of a deal to pass up and settled on a Malbec Black over Wheat premium AWD with good mileage and service history. I've since grown to really love the Malbec Black color!

So far I have installed: Rev9 FlowMaxx axle back, RSR Superdown springs (which I am extremely underwhelmed by and have BC Racing coilovers ready to replace them when I get time), and Ambit FC20 wheels.

Looking forward to learning more from you guys and sharing how I build this car as I have plenty of future plans!

Thanks guys!

I really like the Rev9 axle back! Unpopular opinion, but I hate the way the VQ sounds so this exhaust is perfect. It’s very subtle and has a nice tone with zero rasp.

Anthony - I enjoyed the XFR a lot. L Mine was a 2011 with around 40k on the clock, but I ultimately sold it due to reliability issues. Even with such low miles I was getting timing chain noise and knew I would need guides done sooner rather than later which ends up being a $7000+ job. This is extremely common on the early supercharged 5.0 engines. Overall an incredible performance sedan for the price, but be very careful as there are a handful of common problems that are very expensive to repair when they happen.
