Rear seats don't fold? Anyway to add this?

My '99 Maxima did/does not have a folding rear seatback (no 4th gen did) so what I did was (and I can not attest to this working in a Q50....) I removed the bolts at the bottom of the seatback (2) behind the rear seat bottom, removed the metal shield behind the seatback from the trunk (yes this could jeopardize rigidity) and, then, whenever I need to pass large/long items from trunk to cabin, I simply pull up on my rear seatback and remove it from the upper hooks. I either leave the seatback at home or lay it on top of the objects passing through from trunk to cabin. Again, I have no idea if something like this can be done with the Q50. Best of luck.
That could jeopardize crashworthiness. Especially in a side impact. Drive carefully.
 
100% agree with this. I don't subscribe to the feeling that salesmen are intentionally lying. However, they just don't know when to say "I don't know" and instead misinform buyers....
Exactly. They are not malicious. Just lazy.
