Subject: USB Ports and Map Issue

Hello,

The map and USB ports in my center console have stopped working. I received the following message on the screen (see photo). I took my vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and they reported: "FOUND USB PORT NOT WORKING. PERFORMED DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE TEST FOR POWER AND GROUND - OKAY. UPON INSPECTION, FOUND USB CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FAILED OPEN ELECTRIC."

I was advised that the USB connector assembly needs to be replaced. I purchased a replacement from eBay and installed it, but the issue remains unresolved.

Do the USB ports work? Specifically, if you plug your phone into the USB ports, can you play music? How about the audio jack? Does it play music?

None of the ports are working.

My car was stolen, and when I got it back, I had to reprogram my keys. That’s when I noticed the message on the screen and realized that the ports on the center console were not working.

Scanning the car for DTCs would help us diagnose the problem. Sounds like a fob relay hack was used to steal your car if the BCM had to be reprogrammed for your keys. Was the car's reconfiguration done after the car was returned?
