Good morning everyone. I’m looking for some help I have a 15 q50 with a VQ I’m having transmission issues. I recently came across a steal of a deal for a VR transmission and I need help. My Q is awd however the vr transmission is rear wheel. Is it possible to simply swap the transfer cases on the transmission to convert the rwd trans to awd?

Transfer-case is part of the transmission for the AWD system to function, you need to start there the bell-housing and other modifications are also required.
You would have to swap the rear extension housing as well as the transfer case. I've never personally swapped an AWD VQ extension housing onto a RWD VR30 transmission though, so I can't confirm it'll work.
I have AWD REDSPORT, you can remove the AWD SENSOR under the hood. It’ll run like AWD with no error other than AWD error on dash. Thing is it’s never just a easy simple swap with the Infiniti. It may be a connection somewhere requiring transfer case and transmission meant to be connected in synchronization.
