I had my Niche Form M157 with aftermarket TPRM installed a few days ago. Today I noticed that I can't see the psi. As anyone have come across this?

Have you seen it while driving and car was actually in motion?

The car has to be in motion for a few min for tire pressures to appear.

I am curious where everyone finds that confidential info that car has to be in motion for pressure to be displayed...
let me get my reading glasses...I cannot see attached pic .. wait - it says: "Tire pressure appears while driving"! Bingo!

Kidding aside - I think original poster due to safety reasons made a picture while car was standing still and may be question had to be phrased differently: "Tire pressure do not appear EVEN AFTER CAR DRIVEN FOR A WHILE" ... or may be, it was an honest mistake - it is simple things that get us :)

And I think that we were trying to ask for that clarification on whether the car was in motion or no since the attached pic states and the car seems to be standing still at 0 mph.
That's all.

I actually have the same exact wheels and TPMS sensors don't work on mine either. The shop told me that their equipment couldn't read the sensors. The funny thing is after I drove away from the shop that installed my tires, 3 or the sensors came on, but after turning off the car and restarting (later in the day), none of them ever worked again.

The seller told me to have Infiniti do it, but when I called, they told me it would be $130 for "re-syncing" my tpms. I'm gonna make some calls today and hope this gets fixed asap. I've had my wheels on for about 2 weeks now.

mine shows that message every single time i get in my car if it's on that screen. Sometimes it will even show 2 or 3 out of the 4 tires (their pressure) after a few miles....just drive it for 5 minutes...you'll see your tire pressure numbers come up. Oh, and buckle up :)

try switching it to a different screen, drive it for 5 minutes, then tab over to it while you're driving.

Either the TPMS aren't compatible. Or they just weren't registered to the car. Hopefully the latter. Just take it to dealer and have them register the TPMS to the car. Need some little computer gizmo to do that. Not sure if tire shops would have the gizmo.

"TPMS" (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors come in two operating frequencies: 315 MHZ & 433.92MHZ. The Q50 uses a 315MHZ system. As long as the aftermarket sensors are 315's, they should work - AFTER they are programmed to the car. Think in terms of syncing your phone via Bluetooth - same concept. This is commonly referred to as a "relearn" process. Some vehicle systems can read a new sensor after being driven for a certain amount of time, others need to go through a specific relearn process in order for the TPMS system to "learn" where each new sensor is, which wheel position, and accurately report the air pressure. You'll need to find the specific OEM relearn process for the Infiniti Q50 or find a reputable tire shop. They do this all of the time and will more than likely be significantly less expensive than a dealer.
