In case others are experiencing this problem, I thought I'd share that it took exactly two weeks for the "flat tire" warning to go away on my 2014 Q50 after having the flat repaired.
That's not how it's supposed to work. On my current M45 it will change the warning as soon as the tire is fixed. Here is the 2015 Q50 test procedure for the flat tire detection. It appears just as immediate as my old M45.

Bye.

Had a flat tire and had the same issue. Got everything replaced TPMS hooked up at the tire shop, reset the TPMS.... Still flat tire icon even though Pressure is all fine. Called my dealer, they wanted 1/2 worth of labor, the crooks. Roswell Infiniti of Georgia just FYI. Took it to discount tire and they reset for free. Have to plugin to the OBDII and clear the code.

It's not a normal TPMS reset. It's a fault code in the OBDII that causes the light. The fault code has to be reset not the TPMS. Just went through it.

This just happened to me this morning. I can't possibly imagine who at Infiniti thought it was a good idea to require owners to have to go to a dealer to have a warning indicator turned off just because they got a flat tire. How monumentally stupid. If anyone from Infiniti is reading this, please put this on a list of things to fix in a future software update.

Got a nail in my right rear tire on Saturday and had the tire patched immediately. Hop back in my car only to run into the same problem as everyone in this thread. Flat Tire and red tire indicator showing PSI both pop up. I have no idea why Infiniti thought it was a good idea to force owners to go to a dealership to have this issue cleared up. Every other car I've owned has automatically cleared the code when the tire was patched/filled up/ or replaced.

I just let the alert go off for about 10 days. It will eventually reset itself. I don't know if its the number of miles I drove in 10 days or 240 hour reset.

I had low tire pressure warning that came on and once the air was added to the tire and indicator got reset in about 5 miles of driving.

Just another of a long list of computer faults in Q50

On 3/23/2016 I hit a pot hole and flattened my "front right" OEM Dunlop run flat with a large tear in sidewall which was not fixable. The flat tire and low air pressure warning both came on. I did appreciate being able to drive 25 miles to get the tire replaced on the flat.

I replaced both front tires with Bridgestone run flats which were rotated to the rear, at the same time the rear OEM Dunlop run flats were rotated to the front. Now the warning display still shows the front right tire as "Flat", this is an original tire no TPMS change the STUPID Q50 computer thinks the "front right" original wheel is still flat.

Now I've seen a few post that say drive a few miles and the warning will reset, well I've driven 800 (not 80 , that's 800) miles and still getting the warning while the tire pressure is the same as the same a the other tires.

I'm a bit tired of software issues in tis car, I used to have iPod "find song" feature, but some how that just disappeared, also my rear view back up lines don't turn on for 3 minutes I was told that's normal after returning a Q50 rental where they turned on instantly

My 3rd and LAST infinit!

Completely agree. The wonky aspects of the electronics plus unfulfilled promises on apps will have me looking elsewhere next time. Darn shame since this our 4th and the previous 3 were great.

Thanks Infiniti

so, for those who still had flat tire warning even if the PSI are already showing normal, did the dealer have to reset them?

i have been driving for over 100 miles now and still not resetting. all PSI are good but the warning to visit dealer is annoying.

mine said I still had a flat for about a week and a half or so, sometimes it just takes a while to reset apparently.

Hello everyone, I'm actually having the same problem presently. I had my wheels changed from winter to summer then the pressure monitoring warning came up! I drove 100 kilometres to the nearest infiniti service only to know that the European sensors are not compatible with the American models of infiniti FX (2012). More so, the service told me the warning light will come up everytime I change my wheels, either from winter to summer or vise-versa and it's a paid service. Sounds really crazy tho! Doing a 200 kilometres every season to program tyre monitoring sensors sounds really weird, never had a situation like this with other brands equipped with monitoring sensors.
Think we should all complain to Nissan/Infiniti to remove such weird system in the infiniti brand.

Regards

It's my understanding that it must be reset by the dealer. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. But when I had a flat I had to get it reset by the dealer. Discount Tire could not do it. I did not have to do it when I got rid of those cursed "Run Flat" tires as the ignition was off when the tires were removed and replaced.

I ran over a screw a couple of days ago, got the tire fixed and went crazy trying to get the warning light to reset. I was showing normal psi (37ish). called the dealership and they said it should reset after i put miles on the car. 250 miles later the warning light was still on. i had to go to dealership and have them plug up my car to get the light to reset. took 20 mins, still annoying none the less.

There is an option to reset the TPMS deep inside the settings menu.

Page 8-25 of the InTouch Owners Manual says that the settings menu only chooses TPMS unit type.

That's how they spell it in England, Europe and the Far East. The owners manual to my 1964 MGB and my 1971 Fiat 850 Spider spelled it that way.
