Typical battery life for a TPMS sensor of your type is 5-6 years of normal driving. Mileage factors into battery life also since the TPMS sensors only broadcast a signal while the car is in motion. Higher mileage means the batteries are being drained more.
Thanks for the info. I was curious about the life as my wife's winter setup is going on eight years but low miles. She will need new winter tires next year but she has been retired as of 12/11/20. We may just skip a new a winter setup and store the Merc for the winter. We don't really need two cars and there are not a lot of opportunities to put the top down this time of year.

The date of manufacture of my car is 11/13 but those sensors are on my winter setup which was done in the fall of 2015. Current mileage is 57K. Kinda on the edge based on what you say. No problems yet with the OEM ones. I'll see if it goes away on its own. I have a Nissan dealer just blocks away. I suppose they could reset it also.

Some sensors will last as long as 10 years or even longer, but that's more of an exception.

If you want to reset the flat tire without OBD2. Deflate the affected tire so it's below recommended pressure. Turn the car to the "on" position without starting engine. Inflate the affected tire, and once the tire reaches recommended pressure the car will alert you with a horn sound. Then just drive the car as normal above 16mph and eventually the warning will go away. That's how I got mine to eventually go away. I have a 2016 Q50 Silver Sport.

Not sure if that will work on my car as the 2014-15 TPMS system is slightly different than later years. I'd like to give it a try. When it warms up a little.

Just how do you turn the car's ignition to the on position without starting the engine? It is even mentioned in the quick reference guide with that wording but no direction in how to do that. It is of course push button start. It seems to me it is either on or off.

Is the hybrid different than a regular Q? I press the start button once to go into ACC mode. I press it again to go into ON mode. If I press and hold the start button, the car starts.

Push start button twice without the brake pressed.

Watch this whole thing see if it helps. This is what I did on my 2016. And after a bit of driving, the flat tire finally went away and reset.

I did the prescribed procedure. Deflate tire. Double tap to turn on but not start. A fine line with the hybrid. Inflate tire until beep. Drive car.

Three day laters the warning still showing. I went to my tire guy and asked if he could clear it. He hooked up a relatively new Snap-On scanner and successfully cleared the code. No charge. The cool thing about that scanner was when it was working both of the center console displays said "Consult tool connected". I'm sure that scanner cost a few bucks.

Mine took maybe a week or so before it finally vanished. Dunno how the system works. But a scanner will also do the trick.

I just went through this with my 17 q50s with two flat tire message and warnings I couldn't clear. No, there is no TPMS reset switch on my car. The info console settings/ maintenance does not have a TPMS reset feature. I bought the tires at Walmart and had to go back there. I watched the guy go around and reset each tire TPM tip and clear them. Takes about 3 seconds per tire. He did not connect the diagnostic unit to the car. Just point, wait for the beep and done. Interesting.

I used to have my wives rotated - before I went worn and bold
I rotate wives, but that is an expensive, dare I say unnecessary, option to the problem at hand. 😉

In case others are experiencing this problem, I thought I'd share that it took exactly two weeks for the "flat tire" warning to go away on my 2014 Q50 after having the flat repaired.
This!!! Same here. It just takes a while. Be patient.
