2018 Q50 RED SPORT 400
$389/MONTH LEASE FOR
39 MONTHS
$4,299 INITIAL PAYMENT
Excludes taxes, title, license and options. Retailer Participation Required. For well qualified lessees. Offer ends 01/02/2018.

What is the price more likely going to be at 3% tax? I do have a trade in that should net me around 3k and cash to put down as needed

First rule of leasing - do not put any money down.

I just got a 2018 Q50 3.0t Luxe AWD with only essential package. (Trunk accessories added)

I have 9 months left on my old 2015 Q40 lease ($268 a month)
Infiniti absorbed 2 months of my 9 months remaining lease payment on the old lease car since I lease again from them and dealer wrote a check to us to pay for the remaining 7 months ($1,876)

I’m not sure if I got a good deal?

***
MSRP: $44,945
Adjusted MSRP: $39,654
Residual : $24,719 (55%)
MF: .000030
39 months / 10k a year / $425 a month
0 out of pocket , drop the old lease and drove the new one.

Was it a decent lease deal?

Did not really want to write, but...
with msrp 45k counting your loyalty discount you could have had a selling price in the vicinity of $37k, so "dealer cutting you a check for $1876" is a Houdini act of redistribution of fool's money.
(not even bringing up that you, most likely put some money down on q40 - and the 9, yes NINE months portion of it gone up with the smoke).

So, taken off 1876 you have selling price of around 37,900 - but you could have it close to 37k

Now - if you made a clean deal with cap cost of $37, then 37,000- 44,945/2=371 monthly
With 0.072% interest it comes to $376, tax is (assuming around 6.5% - don't know what state you are in) around $20

Final number is $395 monthly (with EVERYTHING rolled into payments - tax, fees etc)
Even if your number includes all of the above - you ended up overpaying $30 per month = 1170 over 39 months.

But - look at it this way - it could be worse - it could be raining.

Congrats on your new ride.

P.S. Did q40's wheel fell off to make you go through all the trouble?

So I overpaid roughly $1,170?

Thank God! I the did not get rape! LOL.
I put $400 down on the Q40 lease that I returned.

I guess I don’t feel that bad. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation.
Very much appreciated!

Glad you took it the right way, deal under your circumstances is not that bad, but could have been better with impulse control :D

58K Red Sport, $445/month

I just leased an Infiniti Red Sport 400 in Houston TX 2 days ago.

MSRP: $58,210
Miles: 10K
Term: 39 Months
Down: True $0 Down
Payment: $445/month inclusive of taxes and fees.
They threw in window tint as well.

My current deal is listed below. To close the deal the dealer agreed to dealer install illuminated ground lighting at the $538 a month price, as I wasn't really looking for a few of the options such as the Cargo PKG. So retail price actually comes out to $62,800. Hope this helps others shopping for a Q50. I hope to have the car by the end of next week.

The car:

Dealership is Infiniti of Scottsdale

MSRP of $54,695
$468.78 for 38 months including 7.9% Scottsdale, AZ sales tax

$434.26 base payment, 10k/year

Gross cap cost actually includes $788 I owe for the last 2 lease payments on my 2015 Genesis. Up front costs were reduced by this amount, actually $788.09, for an actual up front cost of $1,085.49.

Vehicle is a virgin as it's still on carrier on its way from the port, probably Long Beach, CA. Kinda excited.

First time poster. Looking for some guidance on a 2018 3.0 Luxe AWD in NJ. It has the Essential, ProAssist and Sensory packages. $49,960 here in NJ.

What's a ballpark payment I should be looking for? I typically put nothing down other than first month's payment on my leases.

Due to a mix-up at the dealer, a situation arose where they had to offer me another car. So, I am now the happy lessee of a 2018 Q50S Red Sport RWD - Iridium Blue with Sensory Pkg, Cargo Pkg, Splash Guards, Illuminated Kick Plates, and Infiniti Welcome Lighting,
Same dealer.

MSRP of $55,975
$469.82 for 38 months including 7.9% Scottsdale, AZ sales tax
Gross cap cost - $48,226.56 including $700 acquisition fee
56% residual
.00003 MF
Up front costs - $1,863.62 including first payment, $922.30 registration (AZ charges reg based on vehicle's value), $449 doc fee, and misc. items
$435.22 base payment, 10k/year

The lone remaining lease payment on my 2015 Genesis was not made part of this deal. Actual up front cost paid were $1,210.49. Payment, inclusive of tax, is .84% of MSRP. Another way of looking at is that the payment is $83.94 per $10k of MSRP. So, I believe I got a good deal.

Hey guys,

I just leased a Q50 Hybrid 2018. 15k miles a year. It was 52k MSRP and got them down to 40k selling price. It includes a ton of options that are additional on other models such as tech package, mud guards, illuminated logo and illuminated kick plates. it just doesn't come with sports features anymore (I really wanted the sports seats).

I put $1100 down. It included tax, title, fees, and first months payment.

My monthly payments are $449 a month for 39 months.

Love the car.

Another Data point to add

2018 Q50 Red Sport AWD w/ Sensory
$57,110 MSRP
$459 Out of pocket (First month)
$459/Month w/o tax
39mo/10k miles

Love the improvements they made to '18's.

Ended up with a '18 Q50 Sport AWD

48K MSRP
$5k Out of Pocket
$375 a Month
39mo/12k miles

Did I end up getting rolled? Or a fair deal?
What was included in $5k out of pocket? If no taxes, then if we subtract first payment of 375, you had a down payment of 4625.
Over 39 mo period, that's 118 per month, making your effective payment 493/mo.

Guess I’ll add mine
18 Red Sport
Sticker was 58.5k
$448 a month
1st month due on signing.
39mo/12k Miles
