Hello, I have a 2019 q50 red sport! I was going to see if I could get any suggestions on some parts I am considering getting for my car. I’m looking for performance mods. I’m not too familiar with turbo Nissans (infinity’s). I would say I am pretty mechanically inclined though and just need some help with gaging what is going to help with power and what will make it worse.
  1. Blow off valves: I want blow off valves! Some for a decent price maybe like the zl1 blow off valves from zl1.com.
  2. Turbo cold air intakes: I have heard that some intakes can lower the horsepower. I have seen some that say they add some power but don’t know what to believe. I would say it would be great to get and would help but maybe intakes on turbo engines are less useful. And help with this would be great.
  3. Heat exchanger: Im going to need an upgraded heat exchanger and needed to know if anyone knows of a cheap one that will help with temps a substantial amount.
  4. Cat/ muffler/ resonator delete: I am very lost on what to do about a delete! Should I get a aftermarket y pipe and leave it at that? Should I get a rear axle back exhaust? Should I take off the resonator? If it will not help the power but also won’t hurt it then that would be fine since it would sound better. If it makes the power less and makes it sound better that isn’t worth it though! I have heard that deleting the rear muffler has caused some low end loss of power. So I was going to see if just putting a new y pipe would help with sound and also let it keep the power. Very confused about this problem! If you only answer one question make it this one
  5. Soho tune: I am planning on having soho tune my car just was going to see if y’all thought a tune would be 100% necessary or not.
  6. Thanks! Anything helps!

Now that you own one, it's spelled Infiniti.

Some have higher tolerance for newbies allergic to the search button than others! Not at all judging you guys...just find it funny!!
Few read the New Member sticky I posted and even fewer bother to follow any of the suggestions, including many veteran members.
