Replaced Washer Fluid Sensor

Mine is Q50 3.0 Twin Turbo 2020 luxery sedan. I got this stupid sensor issue last week. My washer fluid tank is full. The car milage is 14k kms. It will be replaced by warranty. My previous infiniti was 2010 G37, and it started to show tire pressure issue when it was still new and this was a sensor issue as well and no one could figure how to fix it. It seems that infiniti has serious problem with sensors.
So you had a TPMS sensor fail in a 2010 G37 and now a washer fluid level sensor fail in a Q50 and that means Infiniti has a serious problem with sensors? If that's the case, so does every other car manufacturer.

the same sensor has just broken down on my 2018 Q50RS last week!
looking at the replies on this post, it seems to be a common issue...
Not really.

So have any of you ever used the RainX wiper fluid? This will destroy your sensor for some reason because it’s not a Float valve. Just wanted to put that out there. I put it in and it broke instantly. I will be disconnecting the sensor for now. Dealer knows this is a known issue and stocks tons of them but Infinity will not replace them for free. Not paying $600 so that I know I need wiper fluid. When I run out I run out and I’ll put in more.
You can buy a replacement level sensor for $10 on eBay. It is a float switch.

Update on mine:

Dealer replaced the sensor ($50 for the sensor and a WHOPPING $650 for labor o_O:eek:).
All you have to do is remove the front fender protector on the driver's side to access the level switch, pop it out with a remover tool and replace it.

$650 labor charge is ridiculous for that job.

Yeah, I was shocked. They claimed they had to remove the bottle, which seemed BS, but I wanted it to be over.
With all the things going wrong on the car, we may just sell & run after the turbos get replaced.
Even the service manual doesn't say to remove the reservoir to replace the level switch. You might consider another dealership if one is close by.
