What Badges do you have, or de-badged?

Just curious what people are either removing or adding to their Q. I see different badges, and they seem to have different meanings, such as the “S”, in silver is for silver sport, and red is for red sport, what is the black ”S” I found mean?

Same like the Z1 400r badge, is that red sport only? why not a 300r badge?

Anyone with a NISMO badge? or can you only rock it if you run NISMO parts?

Do you advertise your AWD? or remove, any Twin Turbo badges?

I de-badged a while ago, but maybe looking to add a bit of color (Red/Black) I did paint my front Infiniti symbol white to match my white paint, blackout trim my chrome, as well as did the vinyl paint on rear trim, and peeled out the Infiniti lettering. Painted my rims Charcoal Grey, and have Black side skirts (Ebay). Just need some Red somewhere.

I had a Stinger tell me I was pretty fast when messing around with him one night, at each light he had another question, and one was what is that? haha, maybe that's the point. But then again last night was messing with a new NSX on way into work, 40-70 I kept him nose to nose. Kind of thought it would be nice if he knew what was hanging with him.

I have the Nismo badge and the Skyline 350GT badge as my hybrid was only sold as a skyline in Japan at the time with the Infiniti and they didn’t use the Nissan badge on the hybrids. I also have the Nismo badge as I am rocking with lots of nismo parts such as the Nismo V1 rims, Nismo brake pads, Nismo oil and oil filter along with the nismo air filter. Nismo H-Pipe exhaust and I have the Nismo Suspension all around front and rear.

It’s safe to say that you should only wear the Nismo badge if you have performance Nismo parts on the car. Otherwise people will ask why you got the Nismo badge and will try to make jokes if you can’t back it up. I know as people have asked why the Nismo badge and I’ll tell them this is why and they will be like got it make sense.

Fun story: I went on a graduation trip to Spain in May. Met a ton of awesome people, and a few of them were a group of American guys that stayed in our hostel. We hung out with them for the rest of the time we were in Barcelona. One of them was another guy named Nick, and he actually ended up buying a 2.0t Q50 when he got home.

Long story short, he debadged his Q and got some other sick cosmetics. Then, he mailed out his old 2.0t badges for me to use. I'm waiting until my E30 parts come in to install them. Hopefully I can ruin a few days with them lol.

They are emblems by the way. Badges are generally worn by people. ;)

I shaved all my emblems except the Infiniti symbol on the front grille and the Infiniti symbol on the trunk. They are painted gun metal to match the front grille. I am stuck with the INFINITI letters above the rear license plate, I would have ditched those too if I could.

I have a 2017SS. I've always liked a Red S badge on the Infiniti and on a white car it just looks cool, it used to signify Sport till the Red Sport came out so this was something I was planning way before the Red Sport model. But anyways, got my Q50 then I removed the Silver S badge and put on a Red one. And got Red Sport wheels. Now my friends who own Red Sports and work at Infiniti, always jab at my saying my cars a fake Red Sport lol.

And yes I have Red Sport wheels only because I like how they look compared to my original Sport wheels. They are a temporary wheel setup till I find the aftermarket ones I want

Don't forget to remove the Infiniti wheel caps if you're going to de-badge everything. :D

Then there's the Mt. Fuji logo on the front grille that has to come off and if he has the illuminated door sills, they gotta go too!

Better rip out the DCU and integral switch as well. Those screens show the logo on boot up!

I actually ended up adding Infiniti symbol emblems to my wheels!

lol  I just want a clean look, and happy/proud it's an infiniti lol.... I should have been more specific , and said any exterior emblems on top of the paint, and the front upper grille emblem.

Red Sports come stock with a red S. So do 14-15 3.7 Q and older G Sport models.
16-23 Sport models come stock with a silver S. Referred to here and other places as Silver Sports.
Black S was intended for the Q60 Black Sport model that was never made. If you see one it's custom.
400R is the stock badge on the JDM Skyline version of the Red Sport (not made by Z1).

And this means it's 10 degrees below 0 and you're angry at the world because you got the model without heated seats.

completely debadged, I'd like to put a camera behind the front logo in the grill and smooth it out. New steering wheel cover is something I'd like to get, debadged. I sanded out the Infiniti on the trunk with the rear camera and painted it black, some body work is coming soon, I'll have that touched up a bit.
