I did get an answer on the fuel bias.....but shockingly not from BMS. @itsecmgr@gmail.com was nice enough to share some info with me on how to set the bias for richer/leaner. You don't need the Fuel-It kit to use this function of the fuel wires. I'd like to see a pic of your "lean spot" though as it's like the factory lean spool mode to get the turbos lit faster.

Data below is from this morning - got on it a couple of times, but not able to get a proper 3rd gear pull. Here is mostly 2nd gear data. I did just notice that my fuel wires are not active for some reason. I did not intend to deactivate them so either I damaged a connection or accidentally changed the setting within JB4. Investigating that now.

The beginning looks like lean spool, but I dont see why you're AFR is still in the 13/14 range after the shift. Can you post a pic of the graph and your settings? You should be richer than that for sure.

I'm going to try and get a proper log later today and I'll post back. I'm really confused on my fuel wires. I assumed they were not active because the "fuelen" field was zero throughout my log from this morning. I checked my settings and the FW should be active. Looking at all my logs since the meth kit was installed and the "fuelen" field does have data, but not anywhere near the activity I see in my previous logs before the meth kit was installed. Admit I don't know what the values mean in that field, just that it means the wires are active and AFR is being managed. Is it normal that the FWs would not be nearly as active if I am running WMI? Otherwise it must be a bad connection that is only working sporadically.

Thanks as always for your help!

Im guessing bad connection. You should be able to simply turn the FW bit on and see a much more steady/lower AFR than you currently are from that table you posted. Running WMI and FW are not dependent on each other.

Well....received my WMI Kit from BMS. Loved your idea of keeping it "all in the bay" Ddnspider. Nozzels and pump are installed...now the electrical...and that is where it becomes a F-ing mess. Was told to download the install directions from the website, did that Be awesome directions if I was installing on a BMW...Just which BMW options do I follow for connecting to the JB4? Does state "All other engines" but the 3.0 is not given. Gives you options for a freakin' KIA for crying outloud, but not the Q. Understand the complaints I have read fully now.
Enough venting...I am interpreting the sheet as ORANGE wire goes to #3 (All Other Engines?) and BLUE wire to where? #14 or #16? Appreciate any guidance...

Do you have a pic of the diagram? I don't recall right odd where the wiring goes as I haven't seen it in awhile.

Attached a screen shot portion of the "Directions"...I think I have it wired up correct...Used #3 and #16...Did just get it to purge, after some research...Be road testing here soon. Thanks for getting back to me! Let you know how it goes...

Well, it is in and according to WMI Flow gauge on phone, appears to be working. Going to have to do some more reading and get some settings dialed in because car was cutting power during runs 3 and 4. IAT was also getting way hot, for a 78 degree day and WMI Kit, if it is actually flowing. Some shots of the short runs below, Map 7, runs 1-4. Any comments/concerns greatly appreciated.

Nice to see others following my post A2W cooler locations!!! Looks like there is some room to pickup more power. I would suggest going to map 6 over map 7 as BMS leans out the AFR on Map 7. Switch over to map 6 and you can probably get a peak of +9 and still look fine. I was at +4 at 2000 and ramped up to +9 and then back to about +4 at 6500 on a non RS.

I just installed this setup inspired by this same thread....Here is my map 6 I am running currently. Make sure you choose Meth Safety (2 I think) and Meth Trigger (1 I think) values right below where you set these map 6 values. Ill look up the safety and trigger numbers in the morning when I connect to the car.

Thanks for the comments/recommendations guys. Much appreciated. I will give Map 6 another shot. Ran map 6 for my 3 run actually, didn’t log it as I was just watching to see if flow was indicated and it didn’t. It seemed to only show on map 7. Gonna try again…

Yep - you need Meth Safety setting = 2 and Meth Trigger Mode = 1 Below are my settings. I get flow on every map.

My meth safety mode was set to 1 along with the trigger mode. My min flow psi was 3 and i had it kick on at 2000 rpms because it makes so much boost so soon.

I thought that meth safety mode + 2 meant that on all maps, JB4 will lower boost target if it senses meth is not flowing properly. "1" I thought safety was only active on Map 7. Can't remember where I found the meanings - probably buried in the N54 site somewhere!. The trigger mode of 1 is what makes WMI active on all maps. NOTE" Purge still only works on Map 7 though.

Looks like VP came out with their own "Speed Sauce" cocktails. They have both a water/methanol mix and more curiously a water/Ethanol mix.
