Hahaha! I actually have tons of oics of your specific car though! The moment BenW shared the listing from Mission Viejo, I saved most, if not all of the pics from that listing! Hehe! :D

Seems like mission viejo did a good job at ordering! They have/haf most of the config/color combinations we wanted!
Got mine at Mission Viejo and they do have every color. And my sales rep told me that they ordered a ton of hybrids the next go around. Not to mention my experience was fantastic there which is a word rarely or never used when purchasing a car from a dealer. haha

Yeah, I have those saved as well. I didn't take my camera with me as I didn't expect to do the deal then and there, just test drive. My wife said, "stop procrastinating and just get the **** car already!" HAHA

Nice! Cetainly a beauty! Love the shot! :D
Full disclosure: I actually swiped this pic from the dealership site after Googling my VIN number. Up came a full page of pics, including one of the sticker with the same VIN. I only converted it to BW because the color version they took made the car look gold rather than Graphite Shadow. :)

Can't wait to do my own photoshoot!

Nice! I've heard good things about them actually!

Haha! I guess the wife is always right! And this time it's for your enjoyment so it's a win win situation! Hahaha! :D

Let's just say I'm an inspired novice. :D

I bought my first DSLR a year ago, a refurbished Canon, and have mostly taken nature photos with it. I've got a little practice in with Lightroom v.4, but have a long ways to go. Your pics are definitely inspiring me further though. :D Enjoying all of the photos you've shared - you need to help out some of the auto blog reviewers around the web who are posting reviews with smartphone pics. :D:D

Hahaha! I am a novice as well man! Hmmmm...makes me want to start a picture thread for random pics so I can see your work! Always have a facination with nature so I am sure I will love your work! So far I have just learned thru youtube and experimenting! One thing I want to venture in is flash photography! Using strobes, umbrellas, remote flashes, etc! I have seen some pics that are just jaw dropping and not something u can just replicate thru photoshop/lightroom! For example:

I think he used alienbees strobes! I didnt really know back then that with flash you can achieve such awesome pics!

What Canon Camera are you using and what lenses?

That's awesome! I'm using the Canon Rebel model that came out before they included video capability. Standard 18-55mm lens (better glass is mucho expensive!).

Have you heard of Scott Kelby? He's a sports photographer, but also does wicked car and motorcycle in-studio photography. Really big on proper lighting. Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider | Photoshop & Photography Techniques, News, Books, Reviews & More Dig around on his site for some awesome and inspiring stuff.

Check out his photos from Cuba too. So many retro cars there in mint condition that he took pics of when he travelled there.

We need to start a photography thread in the lounge. :)

Editing: I just noticed your photo thread there (I'm still new and haven't checked every nook and cranny of the site yet). I can post some nature stuff there if it doesn't put people to sleep.

Nice! Gonna check him out! Always looking out for inspiration!

Yea those lenses can be quite expensive but sometimes well worth it! For canon, I'd say get the Tokina 11-16/f2.8 a very nice wide angle zoom lens! Also the new Sigma 18-35/F1.8 seems awesome! If I were to pick 1 expensive lens for my camera, that would be the one I'd pick! Perfect for street shooting! Unfortunately they dont have thag for my Sony NEX! :(

Heck no! I am sure your photography is gonna put anybody to sleep! You kept those pictures for a reason right?

Google Dave Stevens photography also. He's a big car nut and an excellent photographer.
Hmmm...ill look into that! Tha ks for the suggestion! Maybe able to teach me more techniques and give a different perspective for me of different angles for car photos! Thanks! :)

Scott always has "behind the scenes" pics to explain how he sets up his shots, and what equipment he's using.
Nice! I think these are one of the things I need to add to my technique in car photography! I tend to just capture the whole car all the time and so I think I need this new perspective of capturing different sections of the car and highlighting them! Thanks for the sample! :D

I vote for a creative headlight shot with a stuffed falcon nearby.
Hmmm...i was suppossed to wear a falcon suit while perched on top of my Q50 but I guess that works too! Hahahaha!:D

I am definitely gonna try and do something with the headlights! Havent had the chance to do some long exposure shots with the Q50 so those are going to be my top priorities! :)

I'll post some stuff this week and maybe we can get the photo thread rolling. I think you'll like Scott's stuff. He often takes closeups of various elements on exotic cars and motorcycles, and he does it well.

Given my limited budget, I've considered renting glass for future trips. There are places that offer rental lenses pretty reasonably, as long as you don't break something. :) I haven't rented yet, but definitely want to.

Also, hope I don't sound like a Scott Kelby shill. His books and site just happened to be what I found when I became more interested in photography, and I found his way of instructing very easy to understand as a layman. There are a crapload of photographers out there I love and follow on Google+.
